| These 4mm and 13mm syringe filters provide efficient, versatile filtration across numerous lab applications. A variety of filter media choices are available, all with a polypropylene housing. The 4mm filters are designed for maximum filtrate recovery from samples 2mL or less. The 13mm filters can handle a wide variety of samples up to 10mL. | These preassembled filtration devices remove particulates from samples, and replace syringe-coupled filtration devices with single, disposable units. Autovials are comprised of a 12mL capacity filter barrel and a plunger. Autovials feature an integral filter, built-in air purge, and a support stand that protects the recessed male Luer slip tip. Many models come equipped with a glass microfiber prefilter for easy filtration of viscous and high-particulate samples. Available with a variety of filter media: use glass microfiber membranes for viscous or high debris samples containing aqueous or organic solvents with a pH range of 3–10; nylon membranes when filtering samples containing aqueous or organic solvents with a pH range of 3–10; PTFE membranes for samples containing more than 50% organic solvent; and low nonspecific protein binding PVDF membranes for aqueous solutions, and less than 60% organic solvent or aqueous/organic solvents. | ||||

| Polydisc Disposable Filter Devices, Whatman Filters | |||||
| Each of these filtering devices consists of a 50mm size disc for filtering up to 5L of media. The AS (aqueous solution) devices are nonpyrogenic and have a high throughput asymmetric (anisotropic) polyethersulfone membrane, which has low binding and no surfactants. The housings are made of durable polypropylene and come with a sterility cap for easy handling. Stepped hose barb connection. The AS with Bell device (28137-870) provides a high flow rate and up to 50% greater throughput. The filling bell also reduces the risk of contamination during filtration. The SPF device (28137-868) is designed with a unique serial filter stack specifically for serum prefiltration. It contains four layers of special filter media, including fine and ultrafine glass microfiber and a layer of polysulfone. The life of the membrane in all devices is extended with glass microfiber prefilters, which also allow filtration of larger volumes of solution. | |||||
